Dr Lone Galeitsiwe

Dr Lone Galeitsiwe graduated from Monash University (Melbourne) in 2014 with a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).

After graduating, he worked for several years across Victorian hospitals, gaining extensive experience in Emergency Medicine, General Medicine, Orthopaedics, Plastic Surgery and Critical Care before moving into General Practice. He has now been practising as a GP for several years and enjoys caring for patients of all ages.

Dr Lone believes that good general practice is built on listening carefully, taking the time to understand each patient's concerns, and working together to achieve the best possible health outcomes. He enjoys all aspects of general practice and is committed to providing thorough, evidence-based care in a friendly and approachable environment.

His special interests include chronic disease prevention and management, weight management, skin cancer detection and minor procedures, women's health, children's health, men's health, acute injury management. Lone is also trained in implanon insertion and removal. 

Outside of work, Dr Lone enjoys spending time with his family, travelling, keeping active and following all his favourite sports teams
