Dr Amy Nguyen

Dr Amy Nguyen is a specialist General Practitioner (FRACGP) with a broad clinical background across metropolitan and regional Australia. Born and raised in Melbourne, where she completed her pre-university schooling, she is now returning to Victoria after more than a decade away.

She obtained her medical degree on the Gold Coast before undertaking hospital training across both regional and urban New South Wales, where her passion for community and family medicine was firmly established. Dr Nguyen was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2022.

Dr Nguyen has a special interest in women’s health, preventative health and chronic disease management. She values continuity of care and enjoys supporting patients and families across all stages of life. Drawing on her Vietnamese-Australian background, she brings a culturally informed, inclusive and compassionate approach, with a strong emphasis on patient education, shared decision-making and evidence-based care.

Having now returned to Melbourne, Dr Nguyen looks forward to caring for individuals and families within the local Victorian community.
